Before and after care at Ecole sage creek school - Feb. 17, 2017

From the LRSD:

"As we continue to prepare for the opening of École Sage Creek School, we at the Louis Riel School Division (LRSD) are very aware that one of Sage Creek parents' biggest concerns is related to the lack of openings in the "Before and After" program (also called the "School Age" program) at Rainbow Day Nursery.  I am very pleased to be able to share with you that, to help answer the needs of the Sage Creek community, the LRSD School Board has confirmed that we will be offering a school run "Before and After" program (in addition to the programs offered at Rainbow Day Nursery).  Although there are still many decisions that remain to be made regarding this important decision, we wanted to share this news with you now to help alleviate your concerns related to "Before and After" care. "

This website is managed by volunteers from the Sage Creek Residents' Association (SCRA) Board of Directors. This is our community, and we want to build something special.  We know that getting people involved from the community helps make things happen.  Together we are stronger than we are as individuals.  Be sure to browse the site, learn what is happening, and take the opportunity to get involved.  Let's make this the best neighbourhood in Winnipeg.

Please come back here often to see the latest news from the SCRA.  We are proud members of our community and want to make sure you all have the latest info about all the great things taking place in our community.  We also want to promote opportunities to get involved.

The SCRA is excited to report that we now only require $12,500 to build the second phase of the playground at Parc Ron Duhamel Park.  The community was instrumental in getting funds we needed to get the first phase started (should begin very shortly).  The SCRA worked very hard this winter writing grants proposals and seeking out corporate sponsorship opportunities.  We are delighted to report that we have an opportunity to have your name become part of a special wall of donors.  All donations received for this last fundraising effort will be tax deductible.  Please visit the Sponsorship section of our site for more details.  Let's finish this playground!

Here is an visual representation of the playground plans.  The final product could differ slightly.
