It has been one year since the Operations Committee of the Sage Creek Residents’ Association was formed and it was an exciting year.  We built relationships with people within the community as well as with different stakeholders that have an impact on our community.

During the past year, we worked with the City of Winnipeg to improve the snow clearing situation on both the streets and the trails.  We also submitted information to the City to get crosswalks throughout Sage Creek and we had discussions regarding the opening of Warde Ave. to Lagimodiere Blvd.  We have worked with Manitoba Hydro to improve the situation regarding the Sage Creek Hydro Corridor; working to reduce the number of lines traveling though the Corridor.  We are also involved in the early planning stages of a cell tower in Sage Creek and we will update you once we know more details.

We will continue to work on projects that we started and address new concerns from the residents.  If you would like to discuss Operations in Sage Creek or help the Operations Committee please contact Scott Sullivan, Committee Chair, at 204-955-9231 between 12:00 and 1pm on Saturdays.  Thank you.
